spelling mistakes, mass emails and questions

The following post is actually an email I sent out to friends.


So here is my question to those inclined to offer their two cents,I'm hoping you will.
A friend said something of great interest to me recently when he was looking at an image I sent him.

He said

"it makes me question the subject"

I found this such a fascinating reply. For me, I have always wondered how I viewed art.By art, I mean art in all it's different shapeshifting forms, whether it be, pianting, music, words, sculpture, photos..etc.

I wondered if I view it "correctly" do I ask myself the right questions, how do I feel and if I am looking at it right. Obviously there is not a right or wrong way to look at it, is there? I often think that others are so far more advanced then me when it comes to art, apprecaiting it, understanding it, getting it, knowing what is being said, felt and all that good yummy stuff that seems to escape me when others ask me what I thought? I freeze at questions like that.Thinking if I answer I will either do two things,

Sound like an idiot or
Say something wrong and offend.

Should I be questioning everything I look at? If so what types of questions should I be asking? Do I ask myself or do I ask the artist? If I ask the artist, should they tell me the answers?
Do we really have to question everything, can something be looked at and just be understood or better left mysterious, left for us to make up our own minds with many interpretations and stories?

Any thoughts are appreciated.I promise i wont post them to any blog or website, unless you want me too.

4:00 AM thoughts

I woke up the other day I woke up at 4 am and could not get back to sleep.I laid in bed as the thoughts of "things" flooded my mind.I thought that if maybe I wrote them down I could get back to sleep. I picked up the list this morning and took a look at it.Here is what I wrote.

I need to schedule that meeting with the directors about the wings
Maybe I should practice my breathing (hee hee hee whoo, hee hee hee whoo) deep breath, sigh
I wonder if the fires are still burning, if i walk to the window will I see a glow in the sky? Should I get my camera? where is my camera?
Why is the freeway so busy at this time? Who is up at this time driving? The freeway sounds like a million bees hovering over my head. Is it a freeway or a highway, what is the differnce agian.
I wonder if I will be able to fit into those pink pants I bought?
I hope my baby has Hamish's eyes
I wonder if I will be able to make it through Labor naturally.
Is that a mouse or the cat in the other room?
what is that smell?
Where did I put that letter from Lanie that I had her email address in it?
I shoudl finish putting all those family photos in the album, before H. gets back
Do I need to get another shelf for the house
Where could i put a piano if i got one
I want a piano
I should buy some learn how to play piano books
This pillow is horrible
Get more pillows
why am I awake,
why can't I sleep
I should just get up and clean the studio or something
Did I TIVO Extras?

It all goes pear shaped

I have one month of work left.The I have a month off to sort out everything that needs sorting out.Meaning a new website.So look forward to that in the future where this site merges with a new and improved site, where not I only do I get to bore you with words and phrases but images and links as well.Until then look at H.H. over at www.thinkjar.com. She's beat me to the finish line.

This is the part where i tell you that maybe taking a night class while I am over 7 months preggers wasnt such a good idea. tired, so so tired. and still have a month left.

I've been asked to create some images for a book.I have no details on it all yet.It's all in progress at this moment.So I have not started, worried that if i hand over images of floating bodies the book will be about fashionistas or something chick lit related. So I wait, then of course do it all last minute.

My mind is going overdrive in the sense that I have all these little projects going on and not finsihing any of them.I'm thinking of partnering up..any takers?
If my entries are scarce it's only cause i'm trying to sort out the "offical" looking new site, honestly it has nothing to do with my boring lifestyle.
