As They Were Passing By

Our first group show opens this Saturday 9th 7:00-10:00pm
This started out as a 3 person show and quickly turned to 9 people. Due to the fact that we had all these submissions from people we liked but weren't sure if they could produce enough solid work for solo shows. So we took a chance instead on asking each artist to focus on a few small key peices of art. So what was 3 turned to 6 then quickly turned to 9 in the end. Most are showing for the first time in LA and some are showing for the first time in the US.So it will be interesting to see if anyone shows up to even view the work. It seems if it isnt a party or a local artist people seem hesitant to go out to just any opening. This worries me of course.Ultimately it's sad that people will miss out of seeing some talented artists whom otherwise they would not discover. I'm having a hectic moment. We're having a huge show in September. When I say huge I mean, 100 artists, 100 peices of work with proceeds from the sale going to replanting Griffith Park. The fire has just left the views depressing for us when we stare out our windows(which is doen a lot). So as you can see 100 artists is alot to come up with and then once they're all found, to deal with. What was I thinking. anyway look for it..100 artists,100 birds,100 dollars....enough said for now.

I woke this morning with this little ditty stuck in my head...
"I always feel like somebodys watching me"
